Nice fish…Probably mid forties…48 inches is plenty long for 55 but didn’t have the body to make fifty…I’ll say 44-48. And I’ve handled Over 100 kings over 50 lbs

he only measured the length. There is NO WAY that was 55. Nice fish but sorry about the guide trying to make you feel good. It was probably 35 tops.

Take it you have caught many King Salmon ! Guide has over 17 years fishing this river ….His word goes with me !55lb ..Oh and your not allowed to remove them from the water unless you plan to keep them !
