Bass Fishing caught an Alligator !

While vacationing in Fort Myers this week I was bass fishing one morning in the pond behind my in-laws house at Colonial Country Club and just when I thought my line was snagged I felt a hard tug and realized it was a 4 foot alligator!!! It was about a 45 minute struggle to get it on shore so I could try and release the hook and set it free and one it was on shore it ended up wrestling itself free….my wife, mother in law and 2 children got a big kick out of the whole event and now I owe my …

    i hooked a swan once, which was real pain to free cause he got angry, but i guess hooking an alligator beats that by miles lol

    Actually it was with needle-nose pliers I used a pool net to shield myself from its jaws while my wife held (tried) the fishing line tight….the gator rolled around a few times and eventually it wrestled itself free! Well at least we all walked away without injury!!
