Yeah, it doesnt take long for a hook to rust out of a fish or animals mouth…

i hooked a swan once, which was real pain to free cause he got angry, but i guess hooking an alligator beats that by miles lol

Actually it was with needle-nose pliers I used a pool net to shield myself from its jaws while my wife held (tried) the fishing line tight….the gator rolled around a few times and eventually it wrestled itself free! Well at least we all walked away without injury!!
I want to know too. How did you get the hook out?
