Late spring-early summer hear in pennsylvania is the best time of the year. You’re gonna wannaw use alot of plasstics like a 4″ black Gary yamamoto senko. My favorite bait, and some years, you can nail them on topwater. And any time of year, you can catch fish on a jig, as long as you find the right area.

I like to use chicken liver, but it falls off the hook easy so i like to get a pair of nylons(stockings) cut a small piece and wrap it around the liver and you dont have to worry about fallin off.

Lately, I’ve been using Rapala and other slim minnow type lures on the top and just twitching, then reel in. Water is in the 60′s here. It really depends on what waters you are fishing.
