Gummy Worm Fishing for Bass

JayFatCity asked:

My sister sent me some nasty tasting gummy worms from Hawaii. I hated them but I thought a bass would take a bite. Here are the results.

just do the research. you dont have to believe me just look it up. and i am far from a tree hugger. i used to fish tournaments and i used to hunt and fish all the time. i have a bad back now and i dont get out of the house much anymore. i really miss it too. so no i am not a tree hugger at all. they have done studies on the subject and if you take the time to look you will find what i did. i dont disagree with tournament fishing but i do think there should be a better way to keep fish alive.

i practice catch and release just because we dont eat fish very often. but the people who benfit the most are tournament fisherman. and if you will do some research you will find that most of the fish they release end up dying anyway. i saw where sometimes like in the summer that around 80% of the fish they release end up dead. they release them alive but the shock and lack of oxygen they experience adds up and they dont make it anyway. and some tournaments weigh in hundreds of bass a day.

Im saying youre not supposed to eat bass and if you want to the limit is 2 and they have to be over 18inch

  8. jonnytheninja2 says:

what? either youre asking me that or your telling me that you dont bass. there are too many small bass around so its actually good to eat the ones that are under 12-13 inches.
