Very cool, SF5. I admire your generosity in revealing your fishing spots. You are a good fisherman and, apparently, a good guy. Thanks for the video!
Moving to LA from Wisconsin, glad to see there are some fishing spots there!
Is this the Santa Ana river, if so, im goin there tomarrow, what should i use?
thanks
nice
This is awesome stuff dude. Do you ever get up to Silverwood lake for Largemouths? Im about 30 min from LA
nice fish
I live LA .Where are these canals?
hey space..can u do me a favor and please send me the directions for this place..i live in los angeles..thank you so much.
use crayfish made with reddish zonker strips, i made it with chenille and zonker strips and dumbell eyes.
hi i was using kinda my own version of a bunny crayfish. clousers work really well.
Hi just wondering where is the canals located? can you email me??
Those smallies are epic…
oh cool, bass are really hard to catch unless you have the right stuff. if you’re fly fishing, its the best way. tie some white foam spiders, i tried all colors and white works best for top water, black leech flies, are awesome for wet flies. stay away from bait, it doesnt work there. people w/bait sit for 8 hrs and catch 2 fish, i fish for 1 hrs and land 20. shoot me a message next time. would love to go.
space frog im going to jenks tomorrow sat-9-08 with my wife and my boy. he really wants to catch a bass.
hi jusurfn, i really don’t recommend anyone going there this time. the area is 115 in the mornings 120 and up at noon and 110 degrees at midnight. i was there with a friend and he had heat stroke. so wait a little longer until it cools. i’m worried about ur kids and heat there, but send me an message and i’ll get you directions.
Great day of fishing. I would love to take my son’s there. Can you share the location?
wow great video,. man where is this, i usually fly fish for trout on the kern, piru. these bass look like a thrill could you perhapse tell me where this is, if not i understand…got to love those honny holes.
ya that was me, i ended up with 69 largemouths. were you there too?
spacefrog did u go to jenks lake off highway 38 2wks ago. and fly fishing off the dock?
hey, glass and 38 is a really great place, especially in the winter for trout. i normally go to lake nearby and usually get about 40-70 largemouth bass a day. use white foam spiders, black leeches, blue dragon flies, work the best with the spiders as the top fly ever there. send me a message and maybe i’ll c u guys there sometime.
jerry
