  11. NaturesSneakySavaage says:

yep thats one way to bring them in if you dont have a net. If you go into the water and try to hand pull them theres a chance youll hit the line out and lose the fish

  12. reeghan22 says:

Thats how its done?? Just throw it onto rocks??

  13. cataractsfan says:

  16. prosteelheader says:

i never claimed anything. it was sarcasm.

  17. crowdcor225 says:

Good Job, however, depending on how well the salmon is hooked, I would put more pressure at the front of the battle and less near the end… Good job though…

  18. crowdcor225 says:

You call yourself a pro steelheader? What are you a snagger? You only use 50lb test if youre fishing the Kenai for the Kings. Locals never use more than 20lb test on the lower Kenai using roe for Coho. Get an education before you make such a stupid claim…

  19. prosteelheader says:

thats how its done alright!!! gimme a break. throw your 50lb line out, wait, drag em to the bank in record time…

  20. randall12221995 says:

how could you damage the fish by throwing it onto rocks

  21. trek1500mn says:

    that’s how it’s done alright….I’m jealous.. 2yrs until I move to AK

can you give me some tips of how to pull salmon like that out of the grand? i dont have the $ to go on a charter and i’m really into fishing, and right now they are the biggest fish around.

  24. rikansis says:

i remember i went fisning in alaska when i was 15 and whenever i would hook a salmon i would just run away from the water, i called it “banking” but it really was alot easier than trying to fight it.
