got a 19 inch Pike by my house, but the water dropped really fast, i was right by the drop, so there was so fighting, it took forever to eat it though……
ever caught a salmon, or rainbow trout, they are amazing fighters. Ive hooked onto a 14 pound rainbow and that was amazing

i caught my first muskie about the same size and I reeled him in with 8 lb test no problem

You eat the meat of the fish and you have the skin stuffed and you mount it. A waste? Not really.
nice fish didnt give him much of a fight for its size though, you guys should come to round lake in havelock small mouth, large mouth, walleye, muskie, and i find the small mouth bass (or smaller fish) seem to give you a better fight sum times for sum reason
