In Carter County along the Little Sandy River, angler Bob Elliott reminds us why the muskellunge is the fish of a thousand casts.
More like a fish of 50 cast in my situation, I am going to try real hard to catch another one In Lake St. Clair.
What creek and where is it
Great video. I just started muskie fishing in Kentucky eight months ago and have caught two muskies so far. The first was 49 inches and the second was 32 inches.
Here in Kentucky that’s a good size Musky. We don’t really fish Musky or Pike here, mainly just Largemouth and Smallmouth (we have great smallmouth in lake cumberland and dale hollow), and good cats, mostly channel cats. I haven’t ever even caught a musky, so this is a bit of a shock.
Impressed by the one handed guy!
WTG man!
i caught a 4foot 7 inches muskie it ****** 1hour fishing and had to put it back
ohh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
well up to me in wisconsin i have had fish in 50 inch range and when they hit they hit HARD and i find that u get a better bait presitation and they dont care if the pole is in the water
that is a tiny muskie
Is there an advantage to figure 8 with your pole in the water? never done it like that..
i guess it keeps your line down huh
i dont even fish for muskie i use spinnerbaits and a bass reel and rod and i still manage to catch them although they arnt hooked very well due to the single hook
I caught a 1.23 meter long pike totday:P that’s 48.5 inches
i have never had the oportunity to fish for Musky, or pike
