Good simple info but stuff I already know. I was out yesterday punching various soft plastics through matted weeds on light tackle. Tons of fun. Caught a couple of little guys like 10-12 inchers off of zoom finnesse worms. I switched over to a zoom brush ho and on my first flip I caught a 21 inch bass. Caught a two pounder after about 10 punches. I was only using 8 pound monofilament instead of 40 pound braid I usually use. Give punching a try, it’s fun and really effective.
