california baby…….

did they design the eyes on the bbz from bill simentells eyes! stay out of hawks nest!
Good stuff…dvl can produce fish, the key is ..finding the big girls..
BTW, some of you think our resivors are high pressured..ha..try fishing city park lakes…
Before Elvis There Was Nothing (In music).
Talking about fishing, There was Nothing Before Al Linder.
Nice video!.
I’ve caught plenty of fish in southern california
has anyone tried a skirted lock and lure jig with a black chunk bait? I’d love to try it heard it works well.
yeah in texas the bass population is decreasing rapidly :\
Good tip, thanks. Now theres the issue of catching that 15+ pounder, haha
Spinning reels are for light line finesse applications in clear water and for heavily pressured educated fish. If you dont have a spinning rod with 6lb flouro or something your missing out
come down to southern cal and try to catch a 8 lb on ANYTHING. i gurantee you wont be able to stick one even on a crawdaddy. just because thers a lot of big fish caught down here doesnt mean there easy to catch. only 10 percent of fishermen are really consistent at catching big fish. everyone else gets lucky
lol, 8lb on corn, hey if your that good, why dont you just come down here with your corn and collect on all the tournaments?
Then you not fishing right. I am in Columbus, Ohio and 4 pounders are not that tough. Started catching them in public water after fishing for only 2 years.
use two hands to lip them and support then if there 15+ pounds or else your going to dislocate there jaw, then they will die
very good video, thanks for sharing !
rvollin1935. you ever tried eat a large mouth? its mushy and tasteless. your lucky, in allentown pa. you probably got a trout stream nearby. in so ca. gotta go 2 the sierras to get trout. in barcelona spain the streams r a little closer. the med. still gives good fishing. keep on rockin’
Yeah spinning reels are for sissies…
I you’re using a spinning reel to catch fish in south cal you’re doing something wrong. haha jk. Props to al.
i had luck with a gizmo i fish with in the med. a 40 gram clear resin bobber with a light fluorocarbon leader about a yard long. then you throw on the lure or swim bait and watch the rising. it’s a blast. it also works in salt water and freshwater striped bass. tnxs 4 the info jcurrysad
Ron, Agreed on DVL being a cake walk. I have won a bunch of money on DVL. Pretty awesome lake, as far as dixon goes. That place is even easier. Especially in the summer. Not too mnay people know this but off shore there is a big high spot that goes from 60 to 20. Throw a 3/8 or 1/2 oz jig( green pumpkin) on 10lb with a GYCB craw on the back. I just manhandled that place last week. You can always D shot on 5lb and destroy.. 8lb carolina rig out on 30-50 with a watermelon 4inch baby brush hog
al, a retard could catch a fish at diamond valley lake. now dixon lake is a real challenge due to fishing pressure and heavy noise by picnicers. how to get those bass a bitin’ in the middle of august during the heat of the day, i haven’t seen anybody do it.
Folsom lake used to be awesome, i dont know what happened. I am now here in syracuse NY and catching on average 8-10 fish a day on average 2-3 pounders. a lot of fun. come check out the finger lakes.
I love california fishing but when it comes to bass im all florida!
