www.thundermistfishingtips.com Hello again, This week we’re fishing the mighty Niagara River on the Canadian side fishing for those massive trout. We’re using minnow imitator baits on a dark cloudy day and test out which color is better, gold or silver. The results are exactly as predicted as Ivo catches some huge lake trout! Also today we were using the T-Turn swivel from Thundermist Lure Company which lets us fish completely tangle free all day, even in the strong current. You can get the T-Turns here: store.thundermistlures.com Be sure to let us know what you think, and what you use when you fish for lake trout! Until next time, good fishin’! www.thundermistfishingtips.com

@bearcare6 Actually, Ivo’s the fishing rod was saved by the lure in the mouth of the fish – very lucky.! Good fishing!
@VermonstersinNJ Thanks good luck fishing!
I am curious? What happened to the rod that fell in the river, after you landed your first fish?
IVO!!!!! IVO!!!!!! GET YOUR POLE!!!!! 3:34 Great videos love em all…. but I saw that….3:35 then a little red faced after you got your rod and reel back in the boat. You’re bleeding also from that laker 4:02 but I have to say excellent way to haddle yourself a true professional you never missed a beat. Just a little razzin’ all in fun. Can’t wait for your new videos and shows on TV keep up the great work!!!
Nice fish!!!
@miguelpah Thanks – I had a great day that day…lots of fun.
Thanks for tuning in and until next time, good luck on the water!
@Dirka13 I was using the electric motor just to keep my boat in position and to stop it from spinning around in the current. Also, sometimes the current takes you towards shore, so with my electric, I am able to quickly, easily and quietly move out to deeper water.
You will like to bottom bounce – there are many advantages and in one of my upcoming episodes, I’ll be sure to elaborate on it a bit.
Thansk for writing in and good fishing!
