Alvin i use the side back cast when i have wind blowing on my casting shoulder. that way I make a low back cast and high forward cast cast.

door, not always that is almost a side cast and not over head cast. he is very correct in sayin that you should make small slice, 1100 hrs to 1300 hrs.

  5. AlvinDedeaux says:

No you can do it vertical. Horizontal works for watching your backcast and for the video. Also helps for longer casts and in the wind.

So for a tight loop, does the rod always have to be held sideways like that? Most casting demos show the rod as being vertical.
