Thanks a lot, I’ve been struggling with tying 7x flouro to a 7x leader (also flouro) it’s like hair in my fingers and I can’t ever do it…any advice?
Thank you so much for this video and making it look so easy. I had a very difficult time trying to do this before I watched your video.
can you do a improved surgeons knot to tie the leader to fly line?
thanks just going out flyfishing for the first time this year i forgot
damn take a nerve pill
take it easy on the coffee before making a video of tying small knots
this guy needs a drink!
whats the point its just the same as tying 2 bits of leader together waste of time just tie a longer leader onto your braided loop
Yes. It’s used so that after changing a dozen or so flies, your not shortening or ruining your leader. For example, the majority of expensive leaders start off thicker and taper down to the final strength or lb test.
Tippet comes in a range of lb test as well, change enough flies and using tippet will quickly become of value.
Is tippet just a thinner leader being added to original one…???
