This is awesome! I used to watch this in the 80′s when I first started. Incredibly useful. Plus its a crack-up how Gary looks like David letterman.
Thanks for posting this. This was the first fly fishing video that I rented and I still love it! Its great to see it again.
by far the best movie for begginers….
even if its an ’80s video.
Gary rules. He really really knows how to fly fish. He alone makes the orvis videos look amateur. If you go to his sons website Jason Borger and watch the video “Nymphing” it was filmed in the same river he fishes here and is another great Gary Borger film. This guy can catch a trout in a mud puddle! He also has a great book called “Presentation” worth reading.
Very nice , guys . Useful info; no jargon and neat camera work….beautiful scenery….where shot ?
sounds like a boring work safety video… how old is this…
He looks like someone from “The Littel house on the Prarie”. Nice video though, thanks.
Nice vids well explained. Very good post.
This Fly Fishing For Trout series with Gary Borger is absolutely fantastic. Very well done! A great source of information to learn and attempt to start fly fishing
Thanks for posting!
