Gorgues Brown Trout Fellas
I fished this river back in 05 and had a blast! I caught a handful of rainbows and a couple fat browns. It is a fun place to fish, the weather is warm and so no need for waders!
this looks like a really nice location.
anyone who is interested in learning more about fly fishing may also find the book “Fly Fishing for Dummies” useful. it explains how to identify the best fish to fly fish, how to improve your catch and release techniques how to choose the right rod, reel, and gear to land the fish you are after etc

The Fremont River near Torey is a great stretch of water. But there are so many more places in the local mountains to fish if you take time to explore.
The Freemont River near Torey is great, but there is many more areas to fish in the local mountains, you just need to explore.
hi goozmooshak,
the Fremont River in Southern Utah is a great location this time of year, lots of big browns and a few rainbows. The best things about it are the breathtaking scenery straight out of a classic western, and the fact that there are no people there at all making it a true wild adventure.
Ha sanyone fih these waters here?? I will be going to the area from Las Vegas area. If anyone has any idea about the area then please post a comment here.
Shawn and Dave were using hopper patterns such as “Dave’s Hopper” and “Rainey’s Giant Hopper”, as well as elk hair caddis, headlight caddis, and fluttering caddis.
