I go fly fishing on a quiet beach, and I can see tones of snook everywere. The only thing is they wont chase or eat the fly. How can I get them to bite?
Slow it down. The heavier the fly, the more time it takes for the fly line to flow straight back . Timing is the key, give the line time to straighten out on your back cast then
slowly accelerate to the forward cast. On YouTube there are some good videos tips
to help you with your casting. Thanks for that great comment and good luck.
i love it how u respond no one else does so im having trouble fishing heavier flies because when im doing a back cast they snap off, why is this happening?
Hi, Thanks for the comment .Here are some tips.
Look for a local fly fishing club in your area there you can get helpful tips in salt and fresh water fly fishing. If you are lucky to have a fly shop close by you can try there and keep checking on YouTub for more of are videos coming soon.
Hi, Great video! I’ve just moved from Ireland to Florida and am trying to make the transition from freashwater fly fishing for trout to saltwater fly fishing…
Any tips you could give me?

@Kathy255585 You have to give it time for the flie to get behind you. You can look back so you can see when to cast forward.
