@muddybuddyCO OK, how many people do you know that fish with bait casters when river fishing , let alone closed reels ……….. the pole that he is using looks like a good 61/2 foot mono fiber spining rod , which are good reels for river fishing… maybe if you knew what you were talking about it would make sense , and how would he be a disgrace to fishing , he is just into a different type of fishing , as are you obviously…..

you are a disgrace to fishing… a spin rod? Give me a break… horrible vid, even more horrible fisherman…

We took pictures to the local authorities and he indeed told us it was a “Splake”. usually found in lakes…rare in the river he said.

And on the comment of the size of the Colorado River this place was about 40-50 downstream from the start of the river near Kremmling, CO.

Great idea … I’ll have to figure out how to do that, Maxed. I was born in 1956!

Looks fun, but maybe you should have music from Klaatu to accompany it? :)
