@batstarwars2 ok it depends if u have a top water one u cast it and reel it in slowly if u have a diving one u let it dive and u wait for about 11 seconds and then u reel it in slowly while jigging it trust me ull catch sum thing.

wait until you are almost positive that the lure is in the fish’s full grasp.
when it is, set the hook (yank the pole to assure that the hook is snapped into its mouth) and reel in.
i usually wait exactly 1 second
When do you start reeling the lures in? like how many seconds do you wait. I have one and I need more info on it.
